Not only can I quickly find and bookmark real-time news and other content, I can easily share it on my social networks via email, Twitter and Facebook.
Works great but I would love to be able to share an article on Twitter via the iPhone app!
YourVersion is a fantastic real-time web discovery tool. I use it to find items to tweet as well as to write about. Combine the iPhone app with the Firefox toolbar and you also have a suite of productivity tools.
Ive never used the YourVersion website, but it has to be easier than this app, even on the iPhones tiny screen. There is no way to get rid of a topic from the app. The signup process on the app felt like I was in Safari, not an app, and there were several unintuitive moments. The app UI seems very thrown together, with pixelated buttons and barebones functionality. Overall I dont think YourVersion is for me. I would spend more time trying to clear out all the crap than actually reading articles.
I love this app! Its very easy to use and brings me the latest news, blog posts, and tweets. The Twitter share feature with automatic link-shortening is great!
